Liberty baseball could be a minor rusty out of the gates this year, as the Eagles haven’t seen live action towards an opponent considering that 2019.
“We did not travel this summer months, so it is been awhile considering that we’ve competed from anybody. We experienced practice at the discipline a number of instances by the 7 days all through the summer season, but it is not like competing versus yet another team,” Liberty head coach Allen Hedden said. “Our boys are enthusiastic about receiving back on the area and it has revealed with our off-year routines.”
Liberty will rely on a pair of seniors in Zeb Cornman and Kaden Daniels for management. Cornman, who hit .278 as a sophomore in 2019, will pitch and perform catcher. Daniels will engage in to start with base and pitch.

Noah Jester, Jacob Weaver, Cole Zimmerman and Jaden Anderson will spherical out the rotation. Jester hit .203 with five operates scored and five RBI in 2019. He will participate in next foundation when not pitching. Weaver will be in remaining area when not pitching. He is one of the team’s top rated returning hitters immediately after posting a batting average of .326 in 2019. Anderson will perform third when not pitching.
