Above the earlier two many years, I’ve fallen in love with them.
In advance of the pandemic, I experienced only frequented a handful of them, mainly by incident. But at the time the pandemic strike, and it was secure enough to road-journey, I drove all around the country going to them.
Now I have witnessed 15 out of 63. And someday, I’d like to see them all.
1st, there was Redwood Countrywide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…
Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling views of nuclear reactors…
Then Utah, household to some of the most effective countrywide parks in the region: I frequented Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Right after Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Very hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is the place I live now.
Then there was Major Bend, Texas. The evening sky is unbelievable there! You can see so numerous stars.
Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…
And most recently, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier National Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.
I come to feel so blessed that I have gotten to see so a great deal of our attractive place in the previous several yrs.
When I was youthful, I focused only on intercontinental vacation (this blog isn’t identified as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But more than the earlier two yrs, I’m satisfied to report that I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for my own yard.
It turns out you really don’t have to fly halfway all over the entire world to go on an experience.
As for my most loved? It is a two-way tie among Redwood and Large Bend.
