JU men’s, women’s lacrosse programs chase league titles, NCAA berths

Sarah Elms leads JU in scoring this season. The Dolphins are going for their ninth conference tournament championship on May 5-7 at Rock Stadium on the JU campus.

The two Jacksonville University lacrosse groups gained their typical-year convention titles and will be the No. 1 seeds when their respective convention tournaments start off on Thursday.

What’s unique is the encounter: aged hat for the JU women’s workforce, new ground for the JU adult males.

The ASUN women’s lacrosse match starts on Thursday at JU’s Rock Stadium when the 20th-ranked Dolphins (11-4) enjoy fourth-seeded Coastal Carolina (6-10) at 1 p.m., followed by No. 2 Liberty (10-7) vs. No. 3 Kennesaw (11-6).

The championship video game will be on Saturday at 1 p.m.
